BAND SCHOLARSHIPS

TC awards band scholarships and work aid to outstanding bandsmen who are deemed desirable candidates for this aid. The amount of scholarships is determined by the Band Director(s), according to musical ability, cooperation, need and dedication to the total band program.

Recipients of scholarships are required to participate in musical activities assigned by the Band Director.

Band scholarships are awarded each semester and renewable pending completion of all requirements during the semester of participation, and assignments to a performing organization for the following semester.

The Band scholarship may be rejected and the agreement cancelled at any time. A rejection or cancellation by the recipient means immediate loss of ALL scholarship benefits retroactive to the beginning of the semester.
Not participating in pre-drill will result in a lost of band scholarship. Please plan to attend all sessions.

It is very important that you keep up with all receipts at all times. Always get scholarships awards in writing and bring your (SAR) STUDENT AID REPORT with you when you arrive in August 2006 for pre-drill.
