Tylin Lewis Named SAC Freshman of the Year

Tylin Lewis, defensive lineman, has been selected as the Texas College Spotlight Featured Athlete. As a freshman from Klein Cain High School in Klein, Texas, his performance throughout the 2023 season has earned recognition from the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC), being named Freshman of the Year. Although only playing in just six games this season, Lewis managed to amass 28 tackles.

With Lewis' earning of the award, Texas College has received the SAC Freshman of the Year Award for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023). Isaiah Sadler, quarterback, received the honor in 2022.
