| POSITION SUMMARY:
The Student Success Director leads the college’s efforts to help students stay enrolled, make academic progress, and complete their degrees. The director works closely with faculty, advisors, and campus departments to identify students who may need additional support and connect them with the right resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and oversee student retention and success programs.
• Monitor student progress and coordinate support for students who are struggling.
• Supervise student success staff and related services.
• Work with academic and student affairs teams to improve advising and student support.
• Review student data and prepare reports on retention, persistence, and completion.
• Develop workshops and programs that help students succeed in college.
• Maintain strong relationships with students and provide guidance when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred. The successful candidate should have experience in student success, advising, retention, counseling, or a related area in higher education. Supervisory experience and strong communication and organizational skills are also preferred.
