Texas College is proud to announce the appointment of Maegan Coleman as the new Head Volleyball Coach, bringing with her more than a decade of coaching experience across the high school, junior college, and NCAA levels.
Coleman has led and shaped programs at multiple institutions, serving as Head Coach at Cheyney University, Lamar Community College, and Crowley High School. She has also served in key assistant coaching roles at Morgan State University, the University of West Alabama, the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and West Texas College.
Throughout her career, Coach Coleman has built nationally recognized programs, recruited and mentored student-athletes to academic honors, and helped teams achieve record-setting performances. Her proven track record of leadership and player development makes her a strong addition to the Texas College Athletics program.
A proud Prairie View A&M University alumna and former HBCU student-athlete, Coleman brings both personal and professional commitment to advancing excellence on and off the court. She emphasizes a holistic approach to coaching, focusing not only on athletic success but also on academic achievement and personal growth.
“I am honored to join the Texas College family,” Coleman said. “My vision is to establish a culture of discipline, accountability, and growth while positioning Texas College Volleyball to become a competitive force within the conference. I look forward to working with our student-athletes and building a program the entire community can be proud of.”
