The cash made available to Texas College belongs wholly and completely to the College and comes under the jurisdiction of the Board of Trustees for Texas College. Individuals authorized to receive cash must do so in accordance with the College’s policies and procedures; and, each individual authorized to receive cash must be submitted to a bonding company to ensure against improprieties.

Any person in custody of cash is responsible for the funds assigned to him/her; such person may disburse such funds only in accordance with the policies and procedures of the College. The Business Office is the only office authorized to receipt payments. Any monies received by the various departments are to be given to the cashier and a receipt issued by the cashier to the individual that brings the money.

Acceptable methods of payment include cash, money order, or credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Texas College does not accept personal checks. Payments may also be made via the College's online payment system.  

Requests for Tax Forms

Former students of Texas College may request a copy of their 1098-T tax form by sending an email to BusinessOffice@TexasCollege.edu . All requests must be in writing and must contain the following information:

  • An official statement of request
  • The former student's name
  • The former student's ID number
  • The last four digits of the student's social security number
  • The preferred method of delivery (fax, US postal mail, or email)

Requests for 1098-T forms will be processed within 24-48 hours from the time that they are received by the cashier; please note that the Cashier's Office cannot process request for tax forms that exceed a two year period of time.

Current students of Texas College may access copies of their 1098-T tax form by logging into their JICS account, clicking on the "Student" tab. A link for the 1098-T form will be located on the left hand side of the computer screen.
