| QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED; successful experience as an employee in school food service or other food production facility preferred; ability to work calmly and complete jobs in a timely manner; ability to work with others in a pleasant manner.
JOB GOALS: Successfully assist with providing healthy, safe meals to enhance student learning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist kitchen supervisor with food preparation and/or meal service; assist in pot and pan washing, and/or dish machine operation as assigned; assist with meal service as assigned; assist with getting food supplies and keeping an orderly and clean storeroom; knowledge of inventory; willing to be certified; ability to display food in an attractive manner; be well organized and professional in fulfilling the responsibilities of job; dress appropriately for the position and work required; accept constructive criticism and suggestions; adhere to applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations; arrive and depart from the building as scheduled; treat all students, and staff with courtesy; cooperate and work in a courteous manner with co-workers; perform any other food service duties assigned by Cafeteria Manager.
