| Texas College is accepting applications for adjunct Physical Science instructors. QUALIFICATIONS: At least a Master’s degree, with a minimum of 18 hours in the teaching area. Ability to teach a diverse student population in a learning-centered educational environment. Prior college teaching and experience is preferred. JOB GOAL: Delivery and administration of instruction at the College. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain class rolls, discipline, and control in class in order to ensure a collegial atmosphere suitable for the teaching/learning process; comply with College requirements in submitting grade reports and statistical information when due; maintain a high degree of professionalism and pedagogical relevance in the selection of course content, and delivery; adhere to and utilize the college-adopted format for course syllabi, and utilize a part of the first day of each class as an orientation period to review each facet of the course syllabus with the students; perform other job related duties as assigned by the President and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
