Re: Summer Session I and II and Projections for Fall term 2022

Dear Students, Faculty-Staff and Friends:

I am writing at this time to share that as we plan for the summer, we are doing so with you in mind. To this end, we are also planning for the offering of classes in a safe environment with face-to -face instruction for both Summer Session I and Summer Session II. And, for persons who are continuing the practice of “social distancing,” we will also have virtual (online) instruction.

As you consider taking classes as a campus resident, now is the time to make application for housing. Now is also the time to apply for financial aid and scholarship assistance. To apply, call the Office of Financial Aid and ask for the program director, Mrs. ShaDana Mingo; at (903) 593-8311, ext. 2241. Dr. Cynthia Marshall-Biggins, Vice President for Student Affairs is also prepared to assist you with securing campus housing; at (903) 593-8311, ext. 2667. For information on how to become admitted and/or readmitted, call the Office of Admission at (903) 593-8311, ext. 2297, ask for Mrs. Joyce Allen.

Please also be advised that as we plan for the summer sessions, we are also planning for the Fall term 2022. The projections for the fall term are that we will be face-to-face, with the option of virtual offerings. As we plan we are doing so with the full return of sport programs, college activities, Homecoming activities, Career Fairs and more.
